My prayer is that this blog will reflect the love and respect I have for others and for my Lord Jesus. I hope this page will be one of peace and I want you to know I am definitely interested in you - your good days, bad days, any kind of days :) Feel free to ask questions, but be ready for honest answers. I hope you enjoy my rantings and my pics and maybe there is someone out there to whom we may have something in common :) Make yourself at home :)
Hey! Thank you for that nice long comment...uh...story! You should write about that! Actually, since we moved into town (very small town) I sometimes smell manure when I step outside as some people have horses just about a mile away. I stepped outside yesterday and smelled it and I have to say I like it. It makes me feel as if I have a little part of the country to enjoy here in town. (Now, hog manure would be a different story!) And when I was a teen and taking care of my brother's horse while he was in the Army, I loved to clean out the stall and I kinda liked the smell of the horse manure. Let's face it, it smells better than pollution! Oh yeah, I carried in wood at the farm--we heated with wood. I cooked on a wood stove just once--when the electricity was out for 23 hours. It can be a very rough life, not for everyone. My husband would love to move back out to the farm. I might do it if I can have internet and a 4 wheel drive car to get through the mud and reach civilization! LOL! There's a lot to be said for getting away from so much hectic activity and lives that seem to thrive on shopping, events, etc. It's personal prefrence. Good and bad about both lifestyles. thanks for sharing. I don't think I wrote as much as you did! LOL! Have a good day!
