My precious new twins

James - top
Jonathan - bottom

On Dec. 30, 2009, my daughter-in-law gave birth to two little boys.........preemies at just a little over 4 lbs. each, but are growing rapidly since being home! I've gone over to help out a few times, not as much as I had hoped at first. I got sick after the first couple times I'd been over to help, so I really missed the little fellas. Finally got back this week and had some special "cuddle" time with them, along with my 3 other precious grandchildren! Wow, they are the best helpers for mommy :)

  1. Hello and nice to meet you! Thanks for stopping by my blog and becoming a follower! Your top photo is beautiful, I'm not sure I'm familiar with that type of flower--I've grown mums before, but I don't think I've seen anything like that. You are in a warm area of the country--we could use some of that in our neck of the woods... (nothing like putting on a coat, gloves, and boots just to get the mail!) Have a great day and congrats on the twins!

  2. Hi Joy :) Those are actually a Japanese version of the "Spider Mum". And, yes, these were not planted, they were brought in by hurricanes, and so, they are also referred to as the "hurricane" plant. Last time I was down there, you could see that they had come up randomly in various places. It's usually pretty warm here, but right now we have about a foot of snow. The big storm came in last night. Looking forward to Spring, flowers, gardening - more photos, etc. :) And, yes, it is nice to meet you as well:)
